The pictures display on this website uses webthumb galleries (you can get this free software on Phobosoft site).

Galleries are displayed with a thumbnail page. Press the F11 key to optimize the display on your computer !
Clicking on a thumbnail opens a new page with the photo displayed in a larger size.
Reported display problems are linked with the use of some firewalls, for example, when a firewall such as ZoneAlarm is set to block popup ads. In fact, this kind of software can consider the thumbnails display as potential ads display.
Going on a castle's photo page, for example this of the Bernstein and displaying nothing more than a nice green but blank page doesn't mean that the webmaster's gone crazy... pictures are still there, but you just can't see them !
If so, change your settings to display the entire collection of photos doing this way : first, on section "Privacy", in the "Site list" sheet, select http://chateauxrando.free.fr ; click on "Options".
In "Site Options"
select the "Ad blocking" sheet and unselect "Banner/Skyscraper ads" :
It's a miracle, photos show up !
This settings procedure is almost the same for other firewalls.
By the way, the display of the animated flags is possible when unselecting the "Ads to block" "Animation"setting.
